Everyone has an off day. Even Nole. But let's give credit where credit is due. Dominic Thiem was power personified. He played a very aggressive game power game. One hopes he will have a power life after tennis because the guy did his very best to come back from injury. Thanks for this video Wivo. This is a gem for all Thiem fans. Losing a set 6/0 in a grand slam is pretty bad
Thiem beat Novak twice at RG. It’s clear he would would have been a champion there if it wasn’t for Rafa. Same way Novak and Fed would have 5 more RG’s a piece it wasn’t for Nadal. These three and Stan are the best non-Rafa clay courters, and they’ve all beaten each other on the surface. Sometimes badly.
